Super Mario Run: Gold Goombas Mega Event now live

Super Mario Run‘s Gold Goombas Mega Event is now live.

The event tasks players to track down — and stomp — Gold Goombas in the game’s various World Tour levels. The special Goombas will be flagged on each level; stomping one earns you 30 Coins and a stamp towards a prize-awarding stamp card. Said cards will earn you in-game prizes like a Gold Goomba Statue.

The event runs through to 20 February. Super Mario Run is available now on iOS and expected soon on Android.
