Super Mario Maker heading to 3DS in December

Nintendo today announced that Super Mario Maker will head to the 3DS in December.

While most features found in the Wii U version of the game will exist on 3DS, the Mystery Mushroom power-up will not make the jump. Additional costumes will also be omitted from the handheld version of the game.

Moreover, some courses made in the Wii U version of the game will not be playable on the 3DS, presumably due to the differences in processing power between the two platforms.

The game will head to stores on 3 December here in Australia, complete with 100 Nintendo-made courses.
