Super Mario All-Stars added to Nintendo Switch Online

Super Mario All-Stars — no, not the new 3-game bundle, but the original — has been added to the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service.

The bundle, which provides access to Super Mario Bros and The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2 and Super Mario Bros 3, is available now, enhancing the original NES and SNES offerings for the Switch.

While this is huge, the offering is only a small part of celebrations today announced for Mario’s 35th anniversary. In addition to the new Super Mario 3D All-Stars bundle, a new Mario battle royaleSuper Mario 3D and a new Mario Kart game were all confirmed for the Switch.

Nintendo Switch Online is a subscription service that allows for online multiplayer and cloud saves on Nintendo’s handheld-home hybrid console.
