Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream set for 5 June 2026

Mark those calendars!

We haven’t even gotten to this year’s Game Awards, but host Geoff Keighley is already announcing when we can expect the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream: 5 June from Los Angeles, California.

That, of course, will correspond to 6 June here in Australia; no specific time for the livestream has been set at this exact moment.

“Summer Game Fest, a fan-first celebration of the future of video games, kicks off on June 5, 2026 with the Live Kickoff showcase at the Dolby Theatre in the heart of Hollywood,” reads a press release from organisers.

“Hosted by Geoff Keighley and produced by the team behind The Game Awards, the in-person showcase will stream live from the Dolby Theatre, bringing together an audience of thousands of consumers and a live online audience of tens of millions to experience exciting new video game announcements, surprises and reveals.”

We’ll let you know when more of Summer Game Fest 2026 — including its usual Play Days festival — is known.

The Game Awards 2025 will be livestreamed between 11.30 am – 3.00 pm on Friday, 12 December. Stevivor has previously served as a member of the awards’ voting jury for a number of years.
