Summer Game Fest 2024 livestream set for 8 June here in Australia

Mark those calendars!

The Summer Game Fest 2024 livestream will kick off at 7.00 am AEST on 8 June 2024, organisers have today revealed.

The show will stream live from LA’s Hollywood Park and feature “new video game announcements, first-looks and trailers”. It will be followed by a Day of the Devs Summer Game Fest Edition livestream.

We’ll embed videos closer to the livestream date. If you’re actually in Los Angeles, you’ll be able to snag in-person tickets from 8 May via Ticketmaster.

“Last year’s Summer Game Fest showcase, produced by the team behind The Game Awards, delivered more than 34 million global livestreams, up 26% YoY, and over 3.8 million peak concurrent viewers,” organisers said in a press release.

“[Last year’s featured] guests and games included Ed Boon (Mortal Kombat), Sam Lake (Alan Wake 2), and actor Nicolas Cage (Dead By Daylight), plus world premiere new looks and news from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Baldur’s Gate 3, and the breakout indie-sensation Palworld.”
