Suicide Squad leaks run rampant, prompting statement from Rocksteady

Be careful out there.

A host of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League leaks are running rampant around the internet, prompting developer Rocksteady to detail how “disappointed” it is as a result.

Leaks can be found everywhere and come in form of audio and image files that detail the fates of several characters, the introduction of others, and more.

We won’t get into the specifics of the spoilers in case you’re hyped for the Suicide Squad game… though from past reporting, you seem few and far between.

“We’re looking forward to players experiencing the story we’ve crafted in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League once the game launches in the new year,” Rocksteady said in response to the leaks. “We hope everyone can play the game and feel each movement of the narrative for themselves.”

“It is very disappointing to see details being shared ahead of the game’s release, so we can only urge you to try and avoid spoilers where you can,” Rocksteady continued. “And please try not to impact the enjoyment of other players by posting spoilers.”

Leaks are abundant at the moment — details of Sony and Marvel’s plans for a number of games are now known due to the theft of more than a terabyte of data from Spider-Man 2 developer Insomniac Games.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is planned for a 2 February release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
