Suicide Squad game delayed again on Epic Games Store

What's one more delay amongst friends?

The Suicide Squad game has been delayed one more time… except in this instance, it’s just on the Epic Games Store for Windows PC.

“The release for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League on the Epic Games Store is now March 5, 2024,” Rocksteady announced on Discord.

“If you pre-ordered the game on this storefront, Epic will be cancelling your pre-order and refunding customers directly,” Rocksteady continued. “A confirmation email of this cancellation will be sent directly from the Epic Games Store Support Team.”

A reason for the delay on Epic Games Store was not given. Those interested in playing on day one on Windows PC can instead opt to purchase the title over on Steam.

Suicide Squad has been delayed a number of times on all platforms previous to this announcement; in the first instance, the delay was a response to the poor reception to gameplay it received when it first debuted.

In recent days, a number of Suicide Squad leaks have hit the intent, prompting Rocksteady to express its “disappointment” in the matter.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is planned for a 2 February release on Windows PC (except on Epic Games Store) alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
