Subnautica PS4 release coming later this year

A Subnautica PS4 release has been confirmed for later this year, developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment has announced.

Already available on Windows PC and Mac, the title is currently in early access on Xbox One.

Final PS4 and Xbox One releases will be aided by Panic Button, the studio behind recent Switch ports of Bethesda’s Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Moreover, Gearbox Publisher will aid in a physical release of the game.

The final PS4 version is scheduled for holiday 2018, with the Xbox One version coming afterward. The Xbox One version will be released “as quickly as possible” to align it with the current PC release.

Subnautica is currently available on Windows PC, Mac and Xbox One.
