Stupid Never Dies looks like an unreal, undead, good time

GPTRACK50 is comprised of a host of former Capcom devs.

Stupid Never Dies was announced at The Game Awards last night, and is the debut title from GPTRACK50, a new studio comprised of many former Capcom devs.

“Presented in a music-video style, the newly released teaser introduces the world to the zombie protagonist, Davy, and the human heroine, Julia, performing to the game’s theme song,” GPTRACK50 and NetEase said in a press release.

“The footage offers a glimpse into their personalities and relationship, while the fast-paced pop-punk track captures the game’s vibrant world and energetic spirit.”

“In the game, Davy will be joined by a cast of unique allies who support him as he ventures into another world where he will face off against a distinctive rogues gallery of iconic enemy monsters including werewolves, lizardmen, and skeletons in a fresh take on the Action RPG genre which GPTRACK50 have christened ‘Blazing Fast Growth’,” the press release continued.

More on Stupid Never Dies is promised in “future updates”.

Stupid Never Dies is planned for a 2026 release on Windows PC and PS5. GPTRACK50 is comprised of devs who’ve worked on the likes of Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and Dragon’s Dogma.
