Stranger Things making-of doco heads to Netflix next week

Love or hate the ending, this should be interesting...

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 is just that, a Stranger Things making-of documentary that heads to Netflix next week.

The documentary will focus on the long-running sci-fi franchise’s final season, which ended just at the start of this year. Debuting on 13 January in Australia, the doco promises to be a “sweeping behind-the-scenes chronicle that follows the cast, creators, and crew as they bring the final season to life—and say goodbye to the show that changed them forever.”

You can get a small taste of what to expect from the doco via a new trailer, below.

If you’re sad that Stranger Things has ended, never fear as there are more shows on the horizon. First, an animated prequel (of sorts) called Stranger Things Tales from ’85 will feature the main characters of Stranger Things itself, taking place between seasons 2 and 3. Sadly, the animated feature will not feature the original cast of Stranger Things reprising their roles.

Stranger Things Tales from ‘85 will star Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha ‘EJ’ Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will and Brett Gipson as Hopper. It’s set to debut sometime in 2026; its announcement trailer is below.

Next, a live-action spin-off featuring an entirely different set of characters has been announced, but a release date wasn’t detailed. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
