Steep: Eddie the Eagle plays in a wind tunnel to distract you from late online play, reviews

Ubisoft has paired with Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards to promote Steep at the same time it’s holding back review copies from video game outlets.

You can watch The Eagle Flight checking out Ubisoft’s open world alpine game below:

The stunt has placed The Eagle in record books as the first person to play a video game in a vertical wind tunnel. We doubt a Hollywood film will be made to capture The Eagle’s latest achievement.

Steep heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 2 December, though Australians won’t have access to online content until 7pm AEDT that night. Review copies have also been withheld until tomorrow as well, so expect our review next week.

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.
