Starfield’s pricey special editions offer 5 days of early access

And some other goodies, of course.

Starfield special editions were offered up today in the form of the Constellation Edition and the Premium Edition, and both will include five days of early access to the game.

Here’s what you’ll find in each, and for what price.

Starfield Standard Edition

  • Starfield Base Game

The base game is priced at $120 AUD, but is available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers as part of their subscription. Xbox Game Pass subscribers and pre-orders will recieve the “Old Mars Skin Pack” with three cosmetics.

Starfield Premium Edition

  • Starfield Base Game
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Up to 5 days early access
  • Constellation Skin Pack: Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack

The Premium Edition is $59.95 AUD (or $53.95 with Xbox Game Pass) extra on top of the base game, or can be purchased outright for $169.95 AUD.

Starfield Constellation Edition

  • Starfield Base Game
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Up to 5 days early access
  • Starfield Chronomark Watch and Case
  • SteelBook® Display Case
  • Constellation Skin Pack: Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack
  • Constellation Patch
  • Credit Stick with Laser-Etched Game Code

Aussie availability has yet to be confirmed, but the Constellation Edition is up for grabs for $300 USD in Bethesda’s American store.

Update: The Constellation Edition is now available for pre-order in Australia via EB Games. The edition is priced at a whopping $500 AUD.

Bethesda also took today’s opportunity to show off some new Starfield gameplay.

Starfield heads to Windows PC, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X on 6 September.
