Starfield mod support coming to both Xbox, PC

Just not for launch.

Starfield mod support is coming for both Windows PC and Xbox, Bethesda’s recently confirmed.

“We haven’t said when, but there’ll definitely be [mod support], as we’ve always done on PC, and you’ll be able to use mods both on PC and Xbox,” Hines told Spanish site Vandal, (via GameSpot).

We’ll keep you informed when timeframes are established.

Our review of Bethesda’s new sci-fi RPG went up yesterday. In it, our own Jall Ball said, “Bethesda’s latest offering is by no means perfect, and may not be for everyone. But for the sheer size of it, the beauty of the hundreds of different landscapes you can explore and the always engaging missions, Starfield is a massive technical achievement.”

Early access for the title is now underway. Otherwise, the title heads to both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass — also on Steam via PC — from 6 September.
