Stardew Valley heads to Switch later this week

ConcernedApe’s Stardew Valley will head to the Nintendo Switch later this week, it was finally revealed.

The farming simulator will be available on Nintendo’s hybrid console from 5 October, priced at $14.99 USD. The simulator allows the chance to farm, explore, marry, fish, cook and customise your character. It’s basically an indie darling loved by everyone, so get on board the hype train, eh?

The Switch version of the title will come with most of the features offered on other platforms. The game’s planned multiplayer addition, also known as update 1.3, won’t head to any version of the game until 2018, though Switch is poised to receive it first.

Stardew Valley is currently available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PS4. A Wii U version was planned, then cancelled, in favour of an entry on Switch.
