Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker heads to Disney+ today, 4 May

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be available to stream on Disney+ from today, May the 4th, timed with other celebratory events focussed on the popular sci-fi franchise.

With new content available on Disney+ usually dropping at 3.00 am ET for our friends in North America, it’s likely that Australians will have to wait until 5.00 pm AEST today to stream the lastest film in the franchise.

Until then, there’s heaps to keep you busy — you can play Rise of Skywalker content in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (BB-8’s there, and he’s adorable) or you can jump into Fortnite and grab some limited-time items from the in-game shop.

Disney+ is available here in Australia for $8.99 AUD a month.
