Star Wars Outlaws’ stealth will get easier, thanks to new patch

Yes, please.

Star Wars Outlaws stealth will be the focus of an upcoming patch, and will be made easier as a result.

Outlaws‘ director, Julian Gerighty, told GamesRadar that stealth currently feels “unfair”.

“This is more of something that crept in in the last week or so and that we’re correcting already for a patch that’s coming out maybe in 10 days,” he said.

“So especially, I mean, you’re probably thinking of one of the early missions in Mirogana, which is incredibly punishing,” Gerighty added. “And for me, that is a mistake, and this is something that we’re going to work on improving.

“I don’t think it means removing the fail state completely, but I do think there are millions of low-hanging fruits where we can make it so much more enjoyable and understandable.”

Tricky stealth sections or not, Matt adored Outlaws in his recent review.

“The story has all the heel-turns, reveals and double-crosses you could hope for from a heist story, and even a few surprise twists you won’t see coming,” he wrote. “Seeing the Star Wars world from a more boots-on-the-ground perspective also casts it in a very different light – an AT-ST is a much more intimidating thing to see when you don’t have access to midichlorians.”

Star Wars Outlaws is currently available on Windows PC via Ubisoft Connect, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
