Star Wars Outlaws demo now available, Switch 2 version coming September

Time to jump in?

Star Wars Outlaws now has a demo for those who want to try before they buy. Moreover, Ubisoft has announced that the title will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in September.

The demo is available on all current platforms — PC, Xbox, and PlayStation — and offers up to three hours of gameplay. If you like what you play, the game is currently on sale for up to 50% off on those platforms.

Ubisoft also confirmed a 4 September release date for Star Wars Outlaws‘ Switch 2 version.

Finally, the publisher detailed news of a 15 May expansion called A Pirate’s Fortune.

“Star Wars Outlaws A Pirate’s Fortune takes players on an adventure with pirates and lost treasures. Kay Vess and Nix will team up with Hondo Ohnaka as they face off against Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders, infiltrating the Khepi Tomb to uncover the secrets and hidden treasures it holds,” Ubisoft said.

“Along the way, they’ll discover the Miyuki Trade League who offer new rewards for the Trailblazer in exchange for smuggling dangerous goods across the galaxy. Players must complete the main storyline from the base game before the story pack can be played.”

Star Wars Outlaws is available on Windows PC via Ubisoft Connect, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5. It heads to Switch 2 on 4 September 2025.
