Star Wars The Old Republic Steam release now available

The Star Wars The Old Republic Steam release is now live, available for those MMORPG fans that want to move away from Windows PC via Origin.

The game’s Steam release will offer up cross-play and cross-save functionality between Origin and Steam, meaning players can easily pick up where they’ve left off. Moreover, the Steam release comes with standard platform fare including Trading Cards, emoticons and backgrounds.

More than 100 Steam Achievements will eventually find their way to The Old Republic on the platform, though they’re not available at launch.

Star Wars The Old Republic is free-to-start, though all DLC totals $74.85 AUD. The title originally was released in 2011 on Windows PC.
