Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order’s lightsaber will be tweaked after fan feedback

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will feature a different lightsaber than shown off at E3 2019, developer Respawn has confirmed.

Speaking with Game Informer, Director Stig Asmussen acknowledged the lightsaber design didn’t match the weapon’s established look.

“We made a mistake on that one and since then we’ve fixed it,” he said. “That was very fair feedback, very fair criticism, and we’ve tweaked that. We’ve also tweaked the shape of the lightsaber blade a little bit as well, too. You can see the difference right away.”

Asmussen confirmed we’ll see a white core to the lightsaber, as seen across a multitude of Star Wars films and games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 15 November. Check out extended gameplay from E3 2019 right here.
