Star Wars Dark Forces remaster release date set for February 2024

Mark those calendars!

The Star Wars Dark Forces remaster has been set for 28 February 2023, Night Dive Studios has today revealed.

The 1995 original will get a 4K, 120 frames-per-second (FPS) bump where possible across a range of systems. Textures and lighting have been enhanced this time around; moderised controls and support for gyro/motion controls has been added where possible.

The remaster stars Kyle Katarn as a Rebel Alliance hero, fresh from a defection from the Empire, as he works against his former masters.

Night Dive is fresh off a System Shock remake that was released earlier in the year.

Expect Star Wars Dark Forces on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch on 28 February 2024.
