Star Wars: Battlefront’s open beta goes live in October

EA, via Xbox’s Major Nelson, announced that the Star Wars: Battlefront open beta will begin 8 October.

Running between 8-12 October, the open beta will offer up three gameplay modes: a 40-person Hoth battle, an 8v8 CTF-style mode called Dropzone and a solo/co-op survival mode.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be available on Xbox One, Windows PC and PS4 from 17 November.
