Star Wars: Battlefront 2: Players can earn Deluxe Edition content by playing

The four upgraded classes that make up part of Star Wars: Battlefront 2‘s Deluxe Edition can be earned simply by playing the game, DICE recently confirmed.

Those who want to cut corners can purchase the special edition, gaining access to the Elite Imperial Officer, Heavy Metal Stormtrooper, Armoured Assault Droid Trooper and Master Specialist Rebel Officer. The characters also come with hotted-up weaponry and abilities.

DICE’s Christian Johannesén has confirmed that content can be unlocked by others simply through progression.

The Deluxe Edition, available in Australia for $119.70 AUD, or $107.73 with EA’s Access discount, also provides for three days of early access to the game. That perk can’t be earned through play, folks.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 17 November 2017.
