Star Wars: Battlefront: Expect a sequel one year from now

EA Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen has confirmed that a sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront is coming “a year from now”.

“We’re working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering,” Jorgensen said whilst on an investor call.

More Star Wars games are on the horizon, unrelated to Battlefront. Visceral Games is hard at work on a third-person Star Wars title, due in 2018, while Respawn is also at work on a title of its own.

“We’ll most likely have one Star Wars title a year for the next three to four years,” Jorgensen said in a previous investor call.
