Star Wars: Battlefront 2: New maps and modes detailed

EA took to two separate posts to detail various Star Wars: Battlefront 2 maps and modes.

First, EA confirmed three prequel-era maps: Kamino, Kashyyyk and Theed. They join five original-era maps: Death Star II, Hoth, Mos Eisley, Endor and Yavin 4. Finally, three current-era maps: Starkiller Base, Jakku and Takodana.

In termsof game modes, Strike is a PvP battle featuring two teams of eight players, both competing in objective-based missions. Starfighter Assault will offer up Star Wars spaceships to allow for massive, objective-based space battles. A mode called Heroes vs. Villains will pit good guys versus bad guys in 4v4 battles. Galactic Assault, meanwhile, will offer up large number PvP combat.

EA also detailed an Arcade mode that will offer single-player or split-screen multiplayer PvE battles.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 17 November. Which new map or mode excites you the most?
