Star Wars Battlefront 2 adds new Han Solo content next week

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will add Han Solo content inspired by the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie next week.

Called The Han Solo Season, the following content will feature in-game (via Xbox Wire).

  • Revisit Jabba’s Palace: The map will be available inside Blast, Hero Showdown and Heroes vs. Villains.
  • Dress for the Job: New appearances, obtainable via Credits or Crystals will be on offer. They’re available for Solo, Lando and Leia.
  • New Mode, Hero Showdown: A 2v2 Heroes vs. Villains mode. Once you win a round, you’ll have to pick 2 new characters.
  • Introducing Starfighter Custom Arcade: “You’ll be able to hone your skills in the cockpit with starfighters from all eras, whether you’re aiming to turn Rebellion X-wings into stardust with your TIE/LN or hop into the Millennium Falcon to fly circles around enemy starfighters.”

The content heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 16 May. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is currently available on those same platforms.

Solo: A Star Wars Story heads to Australian theatres on 24 May.
