Star Trek Voyager, Discovery actors will star in Starfleet Academy

"Computer, activate Emergency Medical Hologram."

Big stars from Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Discovery have today been confirmed for the cast of Star Trek Starfleet Academy, and include Robert Picardo alongside Tig Notaro, and Mary Wiseman and Oded Fehr (above left and right).

First, Voyager‘s Picardo will likely appear as his original character, the Emergency Medical Hologram (or The Doctor), though he could simply portray a generic EMH or another character altogether. That’s our way of telling you that we don’t have confirmation as to who he’s playing as yet.

Nextthree cast members from Discovery will reprise their roles within Starfleet Academy, as both shows take place in the same time period. Oded Fehr will play Admiral Vance, Tig Notaro will play Jett Reno, and Mary Wiseman will play Sylvia Tilly.

The four newly announced cast members will join cadets played by Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané and Zoë Steiner, alongside huge names in both Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti.

Picardo is fresh off a portrayal as The Doctor in Star Trek Prodigy Season 2, which is currently streaming on Netflix here in Australia.
