Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown Switch 2 demo coming early February

And will join existing demos on all other available platforms.

Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown Switch 2 demo will head to the platform in early February, joining already existing demos on all other available platforms.

As we’ve covered, the Windows PC via Steam Across the Unknown demo arrived first, followed by a slightly tweaked Xbox and PlayStation demo afterward. I covered the big changes between those sets of demos over on TrekMovie.

Now, developer gameXcite and publisher Daedalic have announced that a Switch 2 demo isn’t far behind, coming in “early February” ahead of the game’s 19 February release date.

“The demo offers a first hands-on look at the core experience of the game, allowing players to guide Voyager through the Delta Quadrant while making decisions inspired by Captain Janeway’s leadership throughout the Star Trek: Voyager television series,” Daedalic said in a press release. “Managing the ship, its crew, and the challenges of a long journey far from home all play a central role.”

It’s unclear if the Switch 2 demo will mirror the Steam or the Xbox/PlayStation demo, but I’d be better on the latter myself. Time will tell!

Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2 on 19 February.
