Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown demo now available on PC via Steam

Beam it up!

Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown is now available on Windows PC via Steam, ahead of its full 2026 release.

The demo is a 6.83 GB download and will let players explore the first sector of the Delta Quadrant.

“Experience the first sector of the journey as the Captain of the U.S.S. Voyager,” publisher Daedalic said in a post on Steam. “In the demo, you can try out all the core systems of the game: make decisions, explore what-if scenarios, repair and customize your ship, explore a sector, research technologies, go on away missions, level up crew members, engage in combat, gather resources – and get a first look at the beginning of the story.”

I’ve made it in about ten minutes and have already flown around through space, repaired a transporter room, and went on an away team mission to the Caretaker array. It’s a little rough around the edges, sure, but it’s Voyager nonetheless.

If you want to play, you can grab the demo on Steam right here.

We’ll report back as more on Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown is known. The title is expected on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
