Star Trek Resurgence has two unattainable Achievements on Xbox

We've reached out to developer Dramatic Labs for comment.

Update 2 [1 July 2023]: A new patch, Patch 1.1, has fixed the issue of broken Xbox Achievements. Read more about it here.

Original story [24 May 2023]: Star Trek Resurgence is out today, and appears to have two unattainable Achievements on Xbox consoles.

We’ve finished the game — nearly twice now — and have found that Achievements for completing the game’s first and second acts do not unlock as expected. The trackers over at TrueAchievements also confirm that no other players have been able to unlock the Achievements in question either.

Those Achievements are:

  • ACT 1: Departure (Completed Act 1) – 45 Gamerscore
  • ACT 2: Secrets (Completed Act 2) – 45 Gamerscore

We’ve reached out to Dramatic Labs for comment and, hopefully, an idea of when the issue will be addressed.

We reviewed Resurgence yesterday, calling it the best Star Trek game since TNG A Final Unity.

Update [28 June 2023]: One month on, and Star Trek Resurgence still has two unattainable Achievements on Xbox.

Speaking with Stevivor, representatives from Dramatic Labs said that “a patch is in the works and will be available soon,” though an ETA beyond “imminent” could not be provided.

The patch will address the broken Achievements, the representative continued. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.

Star Trek Resurgence is available now on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
