Star Trek Picard’s new Earth Spacedock heading to Star Trek Online

Time for a refresh.

Star Trek Picard Season 3’s Earth Spacedock looks to be headed to Star Trek Online, and is already in place on its Tribble test server.

“A brand new version of Earth Spacedock has arrived on the Tribble Test Server,” wrote CasualSAB in a video posted to YouTube. “In this video I’ll just be doing a quick first look to see what’s up.”

The video — which shows off the new Spacedock below. Those who watched Star Trek Picard Season 3 will recognise it as the Spacebook that was (spoilers) assaulted by a Borg-infected Starfleet armada on Frontier Day.

Cryptic Studios’ Nick Duguid took to Bluesky to also confirm that a new model of Earth itself accompanies the new Spacedock. According to Duguid, the new Earth is “a full globe, and will slowly rotate over time, allowing you to see all sides of it (or at least of the Northern Hemisphere)”.

While the old Earth Spacedock was seemingly moved to Athan Prime to become the Starfleet fleet museum, Duiguid also confirmed Star Trek Online has “no plans for ESD I at this time”.

Star Trek Online is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, and PS4; the Tribble test server is only available on PC.
