Get a small taste of Star Trek Picard with this new clip

A short Star Trek Picard clip shows Jean-Luc Picard in life after Starfleet, lounging around Chateau Picard with doggo, Number One.

The clip is short — and we mean short — coming in at 1 minute and 9 seconds. It’s not too spoilery, in our opinion, but does work to feed the hype train ahead of the debut of Star Trek Picard‘s first episode at the end of the week.

In addition to Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Picard will also feature Star Trek: The Next Generation alumni Jonathan Frakes (Riker), Brent Spiner (Data) and Jonathan Del Arco (Hugh) as well as Star Trek: Voyager‘s Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine). It also features newcomers in Allison Pill (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful), Isa Briones (American Crime Story: Versace), Santiago Cabrera (Merlin), Michelle Hurd (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Aussie Evan Evagora.

Star Trek: Picard debuts on CBS All Access in the USA and Crave in Canada on 23 January, followed by a 24 January release on Amazon Prime Video elsewhere in the world. Australians can expect new episodes weekly on a Friday.
