Star Trek Picard Season 3 trailer shows off new hero ship

Say hello to the Titan-A.

A new Star Trek Picard Season 3 trailer has debuted at Star Trek Day 2022 and shows off the Federation’s newest hero ship: the Titan-A.

Speaking with TrekCore at Star Trek Day 3, Season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas described the new ship as the “neo-Constitution-class Titan-A,” honouring both Captain Riker’s Luna-class vessel and the long line of early Constitution-class ships, of which the original Enterprise and Enterprise-A belonged. Returning Picard cast member Jeri Ryan (Seven) serves as a Commander on the ship (and, likely, its first officer?).

The trailer — via Paramount+ below, though we’ll be watching on Amazon Prime Video here in Australia — gives us some great shots of the new ship alongside an unnamed Steamrunner-class vessel. It also gives us more looks at returning Next Generation cast members including Jonathan Frakes (Riker), Gates McFadden (Crusher), Marina Sirtis (Troi), LeVar Burton (LaForge) and Michael Dorn (Worf).

You can check it out for yourself below.

Star Trek Picard airs on Paramount+, Prime Video, or Crave depending on where you are in the world. Here in Australia, it can be accessed on both Paramount+ and Prime Video.
