Star Trek Online Unleashed stars Seven and Hugh in new mission, TFO

And it's happening now.

Star Trek Online Unleashed will continue a storyline involving Seven of Nine and ex-Borg Hugh from today on PC and early November on Xbox and PlayStation, DECA Games and Arc Games today advised.

The new season — the MMO’s thirty-fourth, in fact — kicks off from 23 September on PC and brings back Jeri Ryan as Seven, Jonathan Del Arco as Hugh, and Mary Chieffo as Klingon Chancellor L’Rell.

“This mission marks a critical strike in dismantling the Aetherian threat once and for all,” Arc Games said of Unleashed. “Diving into dangerous situations on familiar territory, players will face new dangers and encounter unexpected challenges. Designed to test even the most seasoned captains, this latest story content sets the stage for what’s to come.”

New content comes in the form of a new episode called “Best Laid Plans”, which tasks players to work with Hugh and Seven of Nine “in a daring extraction mission that could shift the balance of power”. The episode seemingly begins at Deep Space Nine, and focuses on Aetherian leader Thaseen-Fei.

Unleashed also adds a new Task Force Operation (TFO) titled “Shattered Peace”. The five-player space TFO will task captains to “respond to an urgent distress call as Khitomer HQ comes under siege”.

The content will be added to Xbox One and PS4 versions of Star Trek Online from 11 November.

Star Trek Online is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
