Star Trek: Discovery: First photo, sneak peak trailer released

CBS today released a new photo and first sneak peak from Star Trek: Discovery.

Set in the television universe (aka not the same universe as the latest Star Trek films with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto), the television series sure looks inspired by those motion pictures.

A new photo was also released, focusing on the starless planet mentioned in the above trailer. It’s above.

Star Trek: Discovery is now expected in later winter. It’ll air on CBS on demand in the USA, Space (via Crave) in Canada and on Netflix here in Australia and in other regions.
