Star Trek Discovery Blu-ray, DVD available in November

Star Trek Discovery Blu-ray and DVD releases were confirmed for November at the Star Trek Las Vegas convention.

CBS today confirmed that Discovery will be available on both disc-based formats from 13 November. The release will include all 15 episodes of the show’s first season alongside a host of special features including cast and crew interviews, on-set footage and extended and deleted scenes.

Australian availability hasn’t yet been confirmed; we’ll keep you posted.

Star Trek: Discovery currently airs on Netflix here in Australia; the entire first season is available to stream now. Season 2 is expected to start in early 2019. Today, CBS announced that its streaming service, CBS All Access, will launch this year in Australia; it’s unclear how that will effect future seasons of the show.
