Yes, please.
Star Trek Borg has been resurrected (or re-assimilated?), now playable within your internet browser.
The title, a FMV game published by Simon & Schuster, was released back in 1996 and has long since been considered abandonware. Shot largely on sets from Star Trek Voyager, the title stars none other than John de Lancie as Q.
“Star Trek: Borg – Remastered is a fan project attempting to recreate the game in-browser, using AI to remaster the original game footage to HD quality using a rare Japanese DVD release of the game,” reads a statement from the folks responsible for its resurrection.
The title also features what the new developers call “Quality of Life” improvements to help with the game’s new browser-based format.
“Because of the lack of input feedback, MANY Twitch Streamers and YouTube LetsPlayers were getting frustrated with puzzles that involve using an interface (turbolift panel, Borg console, hypospray etc.),” devs wrote. “To address this, I’ve added beeps to the button presses. This wasn’t present in the original game, but it seems it was driving people crazy. Let’s call it a Quality of Life improvement.”

If you’re hungry for more old school Star Trek titles, don’t forget that a number of 90s and 00s classics are now available on GOG.
