Star Citizen’s single-player delayed yet again

Polygon today reports that Star Citizen‘s single-player has been delayed.

Creator Chris Roberts made the anouncement at CitizenCon event, adding a request to players and media alike: “Please don’t hold me to dates.”

“We want to do it right,” Roberts said. “It’s really important to do it right. … As much as we wanted to have Squadron 42 for this year, it is not going to be this year because, for all the polish we need to do, it still needs more time.”

Squadron 42, Star Citizen‘s single-player campaign, will feature the voice talents of Mark Hamill, Gillian Anderson and more. Running over 28 chapters, Roberts said the first episode isn’t ready to be shown publicly.

We’ll have more on the delay as it’s known.
