Standalone Gwent game coming in 2022 from CD Projekt Red

Get ready for Project Golden Nekker.

A standalone Gwent game currently codenamed Project Golden Nekker is on the way from CD Projekt Red and should become available later this year.

As reported by IGN, the standalone, single-player title is designed for more casual play than other Gwent titles.

“It’s not another Witcher Tales game, but something different,” CD Projekt Red’s Pawel Burza said. “We’re aiming to provide a captivating single-player experience for players who prefer it over competitive multiplayer Gwent.”

Over on the more competitive side, CDPR said it plans to release new card drops in April, July, October and December 2022 for Thronebreaker The Witcher Tales.

We’ll have more on the standalone Gwent game as it’s made available. Thronebreaker The Witcher Tales is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
