STALKER 2 gets another delay, this time til November

"Unexpected anomalies" need to be quashed.

STALKER 2 has been delayed again, this time until November 2024.

Ukrainian-based developer GSC Game World has delayed the title a number of times — quite understandably so, if you ask us — with this newest delay allowing the team to sort out “unexpected anomalies” that have popped up.

“We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience,” begins a statement. “These two additional months will give us the chance to fix more ‘unexpected anomalies’ (or simply ‘bugs’, as you call them).

“We are always grateful for your ongoing support and understanding – it means the world to us,” the statement continued. “We’re just as eager as you are to finally release the game and for you to experience it for yourself.”

That means we’ll now see STALKER 2 on 20 November rather than 5 September.

While we wait, GSC Game World has promised a new deep dive, taking place on 11 August. The presentation will include a “variety of never-before-seen content”.

Expect STALKER 2 from 20 November on Windows PC viaSteam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
