Square Enix announces final beta dates for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

In the lead up to its late August release, Square Enix announced the final beta and early access dates for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

According to Square Enix, new users will be able to access the game’s final beta on 17 August until 19 August, on both PS3 and Windows PC.

Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida also confirmed that gamers will, “enjoy various bonuses based on how long you choose to subscribe to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (30, 60 & 90 days).” Those who start with a 90-day subscription get the 30-day, 60-day and 90-day bonuses all at once.

Yoshida also announced a free companion iOS app, “Final Fantasy XIV: Libra Eorzea” that will be released a week after the game’s launch.

Finally, Yoshida also confirmed that “those who registered Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 can play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for free until Monday, September 9th.”

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available on PS3 and Windows PC from 27 August. New accounts come complete with a 30-day subscription. Monthly subscriptoins for the title start at $19.95 AUD or $24.99 NZD.
