Spotify wants to know if you’d like its app on Xbox One, PS4

Are you a Spotify user? Most likely… but then again, you’re not on your current-gen console as the app isn’t available yet.

Yet.

The streaming media company is being inundated with requests for apps on both Xbox One and PS4, and as NeoGAF notes, are actively gauging user interest.

“Hello everyone. Staff here. We’re excited to see so many folks excited about this idea. We don’t comment on any potential partnerships until they happen,” a Spotify staff member responded to an initial request. “Unlike other ideas, we can’t promise kudos will lead to an implemented idea but please feel free to add your comments. We’ll be sure to update this idea if and when we have more to say. Thanks for the idea!”

With that in mind, why not head to the Xbox One and PS4 request threads (or better yet, both) to lend your voice?

What other apps would you like to see on your current-gen console?
