Splinter Cell will be “back at one point,” Ubisoft says

The Splinter Cell franchise will be “back at one point,” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed.

“There will be some new types of experiments,” Guillemot said of Splinter Cell to GamerSky, “but on more different devices. We are working a little bit on the brand today to come back at one point. We can’t say when, because, as you know, it takes time. But each time we have to find the right experience to come back big.”

While we wait for all that to occur, Splinter Cell and its lead Sam Fisher are part of an upcoming title called Tom Clancy’s Elite SquadSaid release is a “fast military role-playing game” where Fisher will be playable alongside heroes from The Division, Rainbow Six and more.

Are you happy to wait for a proper Splinter Cell game?
