Splatoon to receive free maps, gear until January 2016

Nintendo today confirmed it will continue to support Splatoon with free DLC until January of next year.

New maps, gear and balancing changes have been pledged.

From today, the game will get a new update with 40 pieces of gear, including winter items and new bandanas.
