Splatoon 2 gets its own Horde mode, new amiibo, July release date

Splatoon 2 will ship with its own take on the classic Horde mode, it was today revealed.

The mode was shown off at length during today’s Nintendo Direct. You can check out the footage below.

Alongside the new mode, Splatoon 2‘s latest set of amiibo were confirmed: Inkling Girl, Boy and Squid. The amiibo will befriend players, remembering the unique customisations you set for your characters.

Splatoon 2 and its new amiibo head to Nintendo Switch on 21 July.
