Spider-Man Play Set confirmed for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

During E3, Disney Interactive officially announced the “Spider-Man” Play Set for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes.

The Spider-Man Play Set will see the webslinger take on Green Goblin as he tries to destory S.H.I.E.L.D. The Goblin teams up with Mysterio to wreak havok on Manhattan using Venom symbiotes.

Playable characters in the Play Set include Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Iron Fist, Nova and Venom, with additional appearances by White Tiger, Black Cat and Luke Cage. Toy Box mode is also available.

Disney Infinity 2.0 is coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A Vita version is apparently in the works for a 2015 release. The “Spider-Man” Play Set will be available in retail stores this spring.
