Spectre Divide release date set for 4 September

Not long now!

Following a recent closed beta, developer Mountaintop has today announced that the Spectre Divide release date will come quickly on 4 September here in Australia.

Spectre Divide took the competitive shooter space by surprise with its innovative duality mechanic that promises to revolutionize the tactical shooter genre,” Mountaintop said in a press release. “Players will soon have the chance to jump into this competitive 3v3 shooter that allows them to control two separate bodies in real-time, fundamentally expanding the strategic landscape of each match.”

Mountaintop has also promised live server support across the “US, EU, Asian Pacific and Australian time zones” at launch.

Aussie access kicks off at 2.00 am AEST on 4 September, coinciding with 9 am PT on 3 September over in the USA.

A new trailer was provided alongside today’s news; you can check it out above.

Spectre Divide is free-to-play and heads to Windows PC via Steam on 4 September.
