Spectre Divide closed beta starts 14 August

Spectre Divide closed beta has been announced and will commence 14 August here in Australia, developer Mountaintop has advised.

The full event will run between 14 and 22 August here in Australia, or 13-21 August for those in North America. Progress from the beta will not carry over into the full release.

Those interested in taking part in the limited closed beta can head to the title’s Steam store page and request access. You can also try to get access through Mountaintop’s Spectre Divide Twitch drops.

“Watch streamers with Spectre Divide Drops enabled, and you’ll be able to earn a chance to join the Closed Beta,” Mountaintop asserted. “On top of that, you can receive up to 3 exclusive in-game items available ONLY through the Twitch Drops program: Bad Intentions Spray, Troublemaker Banner, [and] Sinister Smile Charm.”

Those wanting to take part must meet minimum PC specs which include an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, a NVidia GTX 1080-Ti or AMD RX 6700-XT GPU, and 8GB of DDR3 memory.

Spectre Divide will launch “soon” on Windows PC via Steam.
