South Park RPG delayed until 2013

Well, South Park fans, you’re going to be waiting a little longer to play Obsidian’s South Park RPG (perhaps named South Park: The Stick of Truth).

THQ’s latest financial statement has just revealed the title has been pushed back to the end of the THQ financial year, so around March 2013.

Developer Obsidian Entertainment was hit with layoffs in March, including staffers from the South Park: The Game development team. THQ itself has been in some financial strife as of late as well. Let’s hope it all goes well for the publisher and the developer on this one.
