Sonic Rumble is a 32-player battle royale heading to mobile

Sonic Rumble was today announced by Sega, a 32-player battle royale planned for release on mobile devices later this year.

Get ready to race in the all-new Sonic Rumble,” Sega said alongside a trailer, below. “Jump into a speedy, 32-person mobile royale set in a cheery toy world created by Dr. Eggman. Play as some of your favorite characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe complete with customization to create your perfect avatar as you dive into action-packed gameplay.”

Moreover, a beta test will take place before a full release; if you’re keen to join said beta, you can register for potential access here. The test takes place over 24-26 May, with registrations closing on 19 May.

The title’s full release comes during the Australian summer, so towards the end of 2024. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
