Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 launches without multiplayer

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is available today, though without its multiplayer component.

Developer CI Games has said multiplayer has been placed on hold to ensure “the best possible single player experience in our most ambitious game to date.”

Multiplayer will follow later this year, CI Games also confirmed.

“We have chosen to release the multiplayer update (that will be free for our players) after launch (the third quarter of 2017) for precisely the above reasons, that is not to dilute any potential from the single player experience,” the developer continued.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has been plagued by delays; its most recent pushed the title to early, then late April. Moreover, Julian didn’t think much of the title in our recent preview.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is available now, in part, on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
